The wondrous odyssey of a young cat who, along with her companions, sets out in search of dry land on a flooded Earth. Humanity has vanished, but the cat seems unbothered. The house with the cozy bed is still there, and the river is teeming with fish. Until the water suddenly begins to rise—and rapidly. Barely escaping, the cat is rescued by a passing sailboat. A capybara, a dog, a lemur, and a bird join her. Together, they form an unlikely group that must learn to survive in this overwhelming new world.
Flow presents a mythical, majestic world of sunken ruins, devastating storms, and emerging forests. The animals and their magical journey symbolize something greater, while remaining distinctly themselves. The animators watched hundreds of cat videos and other animal clips to portray the behavior and communication of the creatures as faithfully as possible.
