Expat Cinema: In the Land of Brothers

Three young refugees try to make a life for themselves in their new country.

Three members of an Afghan family flee their country and start new lives in Iran. What they don't yet know is that they will have to struggle for decades in order to make their new surroundings feel like home. Mohammad, Leila and Qasem attempt to rebuild their lives with optimism but are trapped in a state controlled by police violence, burocracy and armed conflict.
