Bored music teacher JJ meets friends Naoise and Liam Óg, which is the starting point for an unrivalled Irish hiphop act. Kneecap rap in their mother tongue and quickly become the faces of a civil rights movement that aims to save the Irish language. While public discussins arise, police and politicians do their utmost to get the anarchist trio to keep their opinions to themselves.
Real life rappers Kneecap play themselves in this highly original sex, drugs and hiphop biopic. Their call to protect their cultural heritage will be heard all over the world.
