Young Edmond Dantès, victim of a conspiracy, is arrested on his wedding day for a crime he did not commit. After fourteen years of imprisonment at the Château d'If, he manages to escape. By now he has become very rich and returns under the identity of the Count of Monte Cristo to take revenge on the three men who betrayed him.

The film by directors Matthieu Delaporte & Alexandre de la Patellière had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival last year and has already been a success at home and abroad.
